Kam-Ming Wan is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Hanken School of Economics, having previously held positions at the University of Texas at Dallas, University of Hong Kong (HKU), and Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He earned his PhD from UCLA and his bachelor's degree from HKU.

His applied researcher spans corporate governance, executive compensation, and market microstructure, with publications in top peer-reviewed journals including Journal of Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Markets, and Critical Finance Review, supported by multiple research grants.

An award-winning educator, he has taught across Finance, Economics, and Accounting, earning the Faculty Award for Excellent Performance in Teaching (Team) at PolyU in 2016, two nominations  for HKU's Faculty’s Outstanding Teacher Award, and multiple "Gold Stamp" teaching recognitions at Hanken.
