Project Details
Description
The project examines the foundations for certifying commercial game management and strengthening hunters’ role as representatives of hunting in society. The work includes a brief literature review of existing certification schemes related to commercial wildlife use and their key content, an exploration of urban youth perceptions of hunting, and interviews with ten hunters to understand how they currently communicate about hunting and how they wish to do so in the future. Based on these activities, the project compiles initial communication guidelines and development ideas to support responsible, transparent, and socially sustainable hunting practices.
