Abstract
This is the second edition of Apeñ Muchik.
Apeñ muchik – Learning Mochica is more than an illustrated coloring book: it is an innovative teaching method that offers a new approach to the Mochica language. The book combines vocabulary with the gradual introduction of grammatical structures, always presented in a playful and accessible format.
It is richly illustrated and goes beyond language instruction by recovering cultural knowledge and strengthening local identity in Lambayeque, northern Peru.
Distributed free of charge, Apeñ Muchik aims to reintroduce the ancestral language into classrooms, enabling children, teachers, and communities to reconnect with their cultural heritage.
