Fostering Plenitude through Regenerative Education

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionScientificpeer-review

Abstract

Answering the urgent call by Collado-Ruano & Sarmiento (2022) to further examine the foundations and philosophy of regenerative education cultures, our purpose is to explore regenerative education as a transformative resource driving a shift towards regenerative cultures and plenitude. Our guiding research questions are: What is regenerative education constituted of in practice?; and How does regenerative education support and promote cultures of plenitude? We further investigate how education initiatives positioned as regenerative correspond with the ideals expressed by leading scholarship (e.g., Hauk, 2017; Gibbons, 2020).
