Abstract
The original project plan for WeAll, submitted in 2015, and enacted from 2016, highlighted the central importance of thinking and action on (in)equalities and sustainability in Finnish society through enhanced participation and equality in working life in both urban and rural contexts. Beyond this, emphasis is placed on the importance of inclusion of “vulnerable, discriminated and/or marginalized groups into working life” in Finnish working life, with more general insights from thinking through intersectionality, Sen’s (1985) capability approach, and the development of participatory dialogue and co-operation between academia, policy-makers and practical actors of working life.
