Sammanfattning
The article investigates how Folha de S. Pauloand O Estado de S. Paulo work in partnership with agents who are internal and external to Journalism to use the Access to Information Law in news coverage. By using Content Analysis, we examine 75 texts published between 2012 and 2017 considering, for example, the kinds of agents addressing formal requests for the release of public data. The results show that cooperation in the use of Access to Information Law comes from three main groups: civil society, state agents and the media. We hold that this study is relevant since it reflects on the role of Journalism as a mediator of public transparency and because it highlights the transformations of professional routines in face of legal and technological innovations.
